Job Description

Action Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Human Resource/Project Manager to fill a position with one of our esteemed Government clients. In this role, you will provide on-site services during first shift (6:30am-3:00pm)  from Monday to Friday, excluding recognized US holidays or facility closures due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-directed facility/installation closings.

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage 6 supervisors and support up to 130 personnel on a given shift.
  • Being present at the facility during all production hours to ensure daily on-site supervisory and technical monitoring of contractor staff.
  • Conducting mandatory training and orientation of contract personnel, as well as ongoing competency assessments and quality control of services.
  • Establishing efficient workflow processes, monitoring daily productivity, and implementing modifications to enhance overall effectiveness of personnel and activities.
  • Communicating objectives across all departments through regular correspondence and scheduled status updates.
  • Compiling data for monthly reporting.
  • Managing schedules and coordinating meetings.

Applicants for this role must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Six Sigma Certification at or above the Green Belt Level and/or Project Management Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or Facility Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in on-site managerial supervision.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Leadership abilities, including experience in business operations, project management, and human resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to coordinate with other teams and external vendors/clients.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines and objectives.

This position is contract-based and full-time. Salary will be determined based on the applicant's experience (DOE).
