*This is a contractor position*

In this position, you will provide routine and emergency dental care, assessments and diagnosis to offenders in the Colorado Department of Corrections facilities. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Providing diagnosis and treatment in routine and emergency care
• Providing dental care including, but not limited to, diagnostic, preventative, restorative, periodontal, endodontal, oral surgery and prosthetics
• Development and implementation of patient treatment plans
• Maintenance of health records and compliance with HIPAA standards
• Patient education related to preventative and self-care

Requirements for this position include:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience
• Ability to provide dental care within a correctional facility to the incarcerated population
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of dental standards and guidelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate fluently in English both in writing and verbally
• The ability to complete and pass a strict background screening process
